Director, Business Development

Paul Christou is Director, Business Development at Proactive Consultancy Group, where he is responsible for developing new client relationships and supporting the continued growth of the firm’s VAT advisory practice.

Paul works closely with businesses across a range of sectors to understand their VAT challenges and identify circumstances where Proactive Consultancy Group may be able to assist, including historic VAT recovery opportunities, disputed VAT treatments, HMRC assessments and other complex VAT matters.

As a key point of contact during the early stages of an engagement, Paul works with prospective clients to understand their business, the nature of the VAT issue and the commercial circumstances surrounding it before coordinating with the firm’s technical and client engagement teams.

He also plays an important role in developing relationships with professional advisers, referral partners and other organisations that work with businesses facing complex VAT issues.

Working alongside the Managing Partner and wider leadership team, Paul contributes to the firm’s business development strategy and the continued expansion of Proactive Consultancy Group’s VAT practice across the United Kingdom.
